Art as Necessity / Art as Nourishment: The Bread and Puppet Theater

2017 / Senior Thesis Project

My Senior Capstone project was an interactive website set up as a horizontal parallax scrolling timeline. The subject was the Bread and Puppet Theater from my home state, Vermont. For the project I visited the theater museum, documented the puppets with pictures and drawings, then digitally cut and pasted them together to recreate their rich history.

I built most of the code from scratch in Brackets, and primarily used the JQuery ScrollMagic plugin. At the end of the semester, I received a citation from the Graphic Design department for the project.
